US - Vietnam People to People Entre Aid Mission Foundation
Our Mission is to provide assistance, support of charitable and humanitarian causes for the people in Indochina Sates (Vietnam-Cambodia and Laos) beginning with the country of Vietnam through three principal activities: Socio-Services, Socio-Economic Development and Socio-Politics in bringing Freedom, Peace, Opportunity, Prosperity and Happiness.
Goals
The Foundation has two principal goals, first is to eradicate hunger, reduce poverty and raise the daily living standards of the Indochinese people consistent with the Millennium Development agenda of the United Nations. The second goal is to cooperate, support and participate with various nations, government and non-governmental organizations in the process of turning Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos into a free market economy.
Objectives
The Foundation has in its priority to effectively mobilize all existing resources as well as creating new one in order to fulfill the following foundation's objectives:
1) Promoting rapid and sustainable economic growth while ensuring social progress and equality particularly in: developing agriculture and rural areas through private sectors, ensuring food security, creating new jobs, new opportunities, greater support to women, disadvantaged areas and eliminating regional and ethnic inequities.
2) Providing education and training programs to promote economic literacy to small business owners and the youth to increase their understanding in entrepreneurial endeavors and the requisite factors to succeed in the free market economy. They will be given tools and skills enabling them to realize their future as part of the growing global economy.
3) Equalizing business environment and economic development of small-and medium-sized enterprises through direct private investment and project finance.
4) Supporting structural reforms particularly State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) through privatization and restructuring income & export growth and developing overseas’ niche markets to distribute local products, etc.
5) Assisting human development and reducing inequality with priority to quantifiable access to health & education services, gender equality and improvement of ethnic & rural people’s livelihoods. Thus, our overall focus is on urban poverty particularly healthcare, employment, income, housing, and ensuring equal access to these services.
