Since starting in 1990, many more than 140,000 children have received help in the wide variety of projects the Foundation is now running both in Vietnam and Mongolia.

In 1989 with the goal to assist children in need, Christina Noble arrived in Vietnam.

With a determination to alleviate the suffering of the children she knew from her own background, she set about raising money. An Oil Company with a local office helped her start up with a grant of $10,000. She also sang in clubs and made speeches, all in an effort to raise money to help this plight. Now known affectionately by the street children as "Mama Tina", she has achieved remarkable results in the lives of many children.

Thanks to the generous donations and support from several foreign companies, a Medical Center for abandoned and malnourished children was constructed in Ho Chi Minh City on 24 December 1990 and later in 1991, the Christina Noble Children's Foundation was established. The Center, now a landmark in many children's lives, is a tribute to Christina Noble's vision, her courage and her unconditional love for children. The Foundation is now well established in Vietnam and has a good relationship with the Ministry of MOLISA (Ministry of Labour Invalids & Social Affairs).
